New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has gained himself yet another award this football season.

With the National Football League season entering into week seven, Brees was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

Brees achieved the award backed by a stellar offensive performance last Sunday against the New York Giants.

Brees led a Saints offense, which scored seven touchdowns against the NFL’s top ranked defense in the form of the Giants.

Brees threw four touchdown passes to four different receivers, completing 23 of 30 passes for 369 yards with no interceptions, finishing the day with a ridiculous quarterback rating of 156.8.

Brees won the award earlier this season after a dominating season opening performance against the Detroit Lions.

Brees will receive the NFC Offensive Player of the Week award for the ninth time since joining the Saints in 2006, his eleventh time achieving the award in his career.

Brees also won NFC Player of the Month award for the month of September earlier this season.
